This week, Mike Smith and Denise Kanter discuss how you can help families explore the homeschooling option. Kanter’s ministry, Considering Homeschooling, is designed to reach out to families with young children or whose children already attend public school, providing them with a non-threatening atmosphere in which they can discover the benefits and surmount the challenges of homeschooling. Denise Kanter is a homeschooling mom of four children, one of whom cerebral palsy, giving her a wealth of experience in raising a special needs child. Through Considering Homeschooling Ministry, which she co-founded, Denise reaches out to Christian parents and helps them choose a biblical home education for their children. Denise also has a creation science ministry (http://www.worldsbiggestdinosaurs.com) with her husband, Gary, that lets unbelievers know there is a God who loves them and designed them.
